2. ROAD CONSTRUCTION

  1. Road was evaluated.
  2. Storm water trenches were identified.
  3. The need to import material in highly eroded areas was identified.
  4. The road was scarified 100mm – 150mm deep.
  5. Product was mixed into the scarified material.
  6. The material was then compacted and the road was shaped.
  7. The surface was sealed.

Surface of road is scarified.

 Windrows are created and the product is mixed in.

A grader is used to mix the product and material.

The windrows are moved across the road while the product is sprayed to ensure an even mix.

The surface is compacted and shaped.

The surface of the road is sealed using the water bowser.

The road is sealed in conjunction with the mechanical sweeper to remove any loose material and to ensure a good seal.
